Behaviour-oriented Urban Spatial Form Optimization Driven by Operations Research Algorithms: A Case Study of a Mixed-use Residential Community in Nanjing
Overview
This study proposes an operations research-driven approach to behaviour-oriented urban spatial optimization. A two-stage integer programming model integrates building geometry, spatial adjacency, daylight requirements, residential unit arrangements, and pedestrian connectivity to support multi-objective residential community design.
